graphic designer and illustrator for clients such as DreamWorks, Microsoft, Nintendo, RealNetworks, and McGraw-Hill. Mihalyo has also designed many commercial gallery websites in Seattle, Portland and New York. Other projects include theater backdrops, murals and public art. Mihalyo’s work has also appeared on the cover of numerous books, CDs, and magazines. Recently he traveled to Italy and France where he studied the great works of Western Art. Governor’s Art Council are nominated by a review of their works and based on themes chosen by the council. Works and featured artists change each quarter. The council is chaired by Linda Owen, wife of the lieutenant governor. The Office of the Lieutenant Governor is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located in Room 220 of the Legislative Building (State Capitol), 416 Sid Snyder Avenue S.W. in Olympia. Mihalyo is represented by Gallery 63 Eleven in Seattle.
