National Lieutenant Governors
Association
July 17- 19, 2006
Seattle, WA
Washington served as the host state for the July 17-19 meeting
of the National Lieutenant Governors Association
meeting in
Seattle.
Sessions included panels on international trade, changing
demographics, health care, border crossing and many other
issues. While most of the NLGA meeting took place at a downtown
hotel, the lieutenant governors made off-site visits to three of
Washington's global companies: Starbucks, Microsoft and
Boeing, as well as the Aerospace Machinists Hall in South Park
and Bell Harbor Conference Center on the Seattle waterfront for
special events.
The Office of the Lieutenant Governor would like to thank all of
the many organizations that contributed to its success!
