Juliette Schindler Kelly joined the Office of Lieutenant Governor in July 2002 to help develop and implement Brad Owen’s international relations programs.  Since then, she was been promoted to deputy director in addition to her responsibilities as international trade specialist and, in March 2007, chief of staff.

Juliette spent seven years in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco developing expertise in international development and public affairs issues. She has lived abroad for two summers, in Spain and in Moscow, and lived in London for a year and half, working as an international business consultant.  

Juliette has a B.A. from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington and a M.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Juliette enjoys traveling, tennis, hiking, skiing and other outdoor pursuits. She speaks Spanish. She is married and has a son, Gavin and daughter, Fiona.
