Mara
Machulsky joined the Office of the Lieutenant Governor in April
2007. Previously she was a session employee for the Office of
Program Research at the House of Representatives in Olympia.
Mara has worked in various fields
including federal government, environmental non- profit, media, and
for the University of Alaska Anchorage before landing
in the Washington state government.
She grew up on Kodiak Island in the Gulf of Alaska and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Mara volunteers with Community Youth Services on the Community Accountability Board, the Washington Chapter of Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), and the Olympia Food Coop. She enjoys international travel, nature, music and modern art. |
