Washington's Sister Cities Relationships
Washington state’s cities, ports, chambers of commerce, schools and other organizations have developed sister relationships with their counterparts in other countries. There are more than 60 Sister City relationships with nations around the world. More information on these relationships is available from the relevant city or county office. The state of Washington has sister state relationships with Hyogo Prefecture in Japan, the State of Jalisco in Mexico, and Jeollabuk-do Province in the Republic of Korea. The state also has friendship agreements with the Sichuan Province in China and the Pangasinan Province in the Philippines.
